BRENT
MCLEOD
The
name
Brent
McLeod
is
well
known
in
the
South
Eastern
Corner
of
Australia.
He
has
played
up
and
down
the
coast
here
for
nigh
on
30
years.At last, after much nagging from his many fans, he finally put together a CD that was released last year. It is called 'From My Soul to You' People that have attended his many performances are left in no doubt that they are in the presence of a finely gifted songwriter and tunesmith. His sensitive composition and moving and passionate delivery never fail to impress. Brent says - 'I found out I had the ability to write songs and melodies … and how satisfying singing about every day things and emotions was. I have played from Great Keppel Island to Philip Island and written many songs about people, places, communities and emotions along the way.' Along the way Brent has played with many groups: 'The Hooligans' in the Latrobe Valley, the very talented Killers of Eden and even sat in with the unforgettable Goanna Band.
